Health Plan Innovation Principal Consultant

We are currently hiring a Health Plan Innovation Principal Consultant to expand our winning team. The Principal Consultant will be a senior business leader who will create new business solutions as well as support our sales and account teams with both sales and delivery efforts. This is an exciting new role in the organization that will lead the development of innovative solutions drawing on capabilities both inside and outside Dell, through the entire lifecycle to solution launch.



***This is a virtual/remote role which will require 25-50% travel



Responsibilities will include:



- Focus on acquisition of new customers as well as enhancement of business within existing customers

- Educate prospective customers on the merits of Dell’s range of services skills and expertise

- Work toward mutual goals and objectives across strategic partners and/or customers to build awareness and support of overall strategic benefits or a product or solution

- Develop account presence by creating a high added value working relationship with senior customer personnel

- Customarily and regularly engage at partner and/or customer facilities

- Identify long-term and short-term sales opportunities

- Transfer knowledge to sales teams to improve their sales skills around a solution set or within a vertical

- Analyze business opportunities, assess potential markets, and develop projects for use in new marketing initiatives

- Analyze market data to identify trends/opportunities, develop strategic direction from market information and create compelling market analysis presentations

- Provide financial analyses, long-range forecasting and analysis studies associated with potential alliances/partnerships

- Evaluate program trends and provide analysis and recommendations to leadership based on the sales impact of the solution(s) in the marketplace and the overall success of the program

- Conduct cross-functional planning and coordination (i.e. Sales, Contracts, Legal, S&P, PG et al) in order to create winning solutions



QualificationsRequirements

- 10+ years of relevant business development and solution innovation experience in healthcare, specifically Sales or Large Account Management experience with IT/BPO solutions for health plans and providers

- Consultative selling skills with demonstrated experience working with Directors, Senior Directors, and CXOs across Healthcare and Life Sciences Industry

- Track record of innovative thinking and understanding of the health care business and policy environment

- Extensive experience working in a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders

- Value proposition development & strong business acumen

- Strong commercial skills in a services business environment

- C-suite relationship building & management experience



Preferences

- MBA / MD / MPA / JD strongly preferred
