As an Account Executive with Talent Solutions, you will:
During the first 30 days:
- You will complete Life@LinkedIn and Sales@LinkedIn training in order to fully absorb the mission, vision and values of LinkedIn and to understand the consultative sales process
- Learn about the business, the team and LinkedIn’s platform and products and associated tools (e.g. Salesforce.com) to enable success in your role
- Plan your territory within your specific geographic region and understand the critical importance the LinkedIn’s Talent Solutions products in relation to HR/ Human Capital Solutions sector
- Understand how to build and present a LinkedIn sales story using data and insights
- Be comfortable with evangelical sales, thoroughly understand and articulate clearly LinkedIn’s wider vision and the business implications this has
During the first 60 days:
- Conduct individual research on your territory and leverage your assigned Sales Development Specialist to generate qualified leads and build a strong pipeline
- Send weekly outbound prospecting emails to potential clients and follow up with a phone call where necessary
- Conduct in-depth discovery calls to qualify / disqualify need for LinkedIn Talent Solutions
- Set-up demonstrations via Webex with key decision makers from qualified leads gleaned during discovery process
- Tailor Talent Solutions product to individual clients needs and within a formal proposal
- Balance the negotiation and closing of short-term tactical deals with longer-term strategic deals within the appropriate timeframe with the view of closing business in line with and/ or exceed your quarterly quota
By the end of 60 days:
- You will be comfortable traversing and addressing pricing, margin, commercial issues and confidently close complex deals
By the end of 90 days:
- You will be able to build a pipeline and reliably forecast your expected results in a transparent manner
- You will be confident in negotiating long term strategic sales cycles as well as identifying and closing immediate tactical wins
After 12 months:
- You will have delivered/ exceeded against your annual revenue targets selling unique solutions that connect talent with opportunity on a massive scale and change the way businesses operate
- You will have gained suburb commercial knowledge of the industry and developed a deep understanding of Linkedin’s business and are viewed as a subject matter expert in your field both internally and externally
- You will be a coach / mentor in the team, sharing your knowledge and experience with others to enable them to achieve their goals
- You will be a recognized member of our global team adding value and collaborating with our global sales organization
We are seeking candidates with:
- Proven track record of reaching and exceeding sales revenue goals in a high-growth company environment
- Relevant experience with SaaS sales and/or recruiting background
- Ability to orchestrate the closure of business on dates consistent with the accurate understanding of prospects’ needs
- Established reputation as a high integrity, top performer
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A degree-level education (or equivalent)
