Identifying the best channels to find prospects, for example via in-person events, online channels, the phone, or employee referrals
Publicizing job postings to attract active candidates (e.g. job boards, classifieds, career sites, and search-engine optimized posts)
Searching through already known, “warm” prospects to contact (including talent networks, past qualified candidates, former employees, or those identified by other recruiters or hiring managers)
Building a list of new leads (names and basic information) for a current or future position
Evaluating information available about leads to identify the most qualified names to contact as prospects
Scripting the right message or designing the right forum/event to communicate with prospects or prospect segments
Engaging prospects to establish an initial relationship, get more information about them, determine their initial interest, and/or
Engaging in follow-up outreach (e.g., calls, e-mail, or direct mail) with prospects to develop the relationship, answer questions, gauge their receptivity, or encourage them to apply
Screening promising prospects, typically through phone or in-person prospect interviews, to determine whether they should proceed to the next stage (application/full interviews)
Convincing prospects to apply for a specific job
Physically reviewing or electronically searching applications to identify appropriate applicants.
Qualifications
Experience:
2-3 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Skills
Basic process orientation, interviewing skills, Basic
industry knowledge, communication skills.
Basic interviewing skills, compliance and regulatory knowledge.
