Talent Acquisition / Recruitment Manager

Achieve the Talent objective of ‘Recruiting and Retaining Top Talent’ by leading the Live Nation Entertainment (LNE) Talent function to provide an expert resourcing capability to the UK based International Head Offices, Regional Offices and Venues that incorporates effective sourcing & selection of high quality external Talent for all positions up to and including executive level.


Ensure the Talent team (including Talent Acquisition Advisors) empowers and partners with HR and key business stakeholders to embed the employer brand by becoming active Brand Ambassadors and drives a value add service through resourcing practices.


Responsibilities



  • Take ownership of LNE Talent function ensuring the delivery of a high quality resourcing service aligned to the needs of the Live Nation Entertainment business

  • Maintain a strategy and process that fully supports the business resourcing needs with particular emphasis on Technology business areas

  • Experience negotiating & managing external resourcing media accounts (in particular LinkedIn and technology specific media)

  • Recruitment Technology savvy – enhanced experience managing and implementing Applicant Tracking Systems & ecommerce platforms

  • Support online Direct Attraction Strategy by taking ownership of:

    • Company Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Monster MUA. Acting as ‘superuser’ and ensuring it is efficiently utilised to capacity

    • LinkedIn Recruiter account, own and manage account ensuring all job postings / inmails are effectively utilised at all times

    • Social Networking Careers Accounts, support social media strategy for Facebook and Twitter accounts that increases and engages with followers

    • Online job board activity, manage media accounts. Identify and utilise other suitable job boards to support attraction campaigns as required



  • Partner with the Internal Talent Acquisition Advisors in sourcing all potential candidates via direct strategies:

    • Focus on reducing cost / time per hire without compromising quality of candidates delivered to any business area

    • Use all available sourcing tools on a daily basis to attract talent

    • Design and place online recruitment advertisements utilising key word methods to ensure LNE is consistently listed highly on job boards / social media sites

    • Effective candidate management and development of Talent Pools to feed needs of the business. This is to include networking (face to face, online media and professional bodies), generating referrals and managing expectations to effectively place individuals while maintaining LNE’s brand as a reputable employer

    • Create and maintain working online Talent Pool database on company ATS with a feed of quality candidates that is accessible to all managers

    • Create and distribute ‘Recruitment Toolkit’ that gives managers the information and tools to run effective recruitment and selection campaigns

    • Actively drive talent internally to move within and across business divisions

    • Manage external candidate attraction and ensure business process leads to a positive candidate journey



  • Empower the global company employer brand (in partnership with the US team) on the following:

    • Maintain a high quality, attractive & working careers site adhering to branding guidelines & internal company restrictions while creating a global look and feel. Ensure to continuously review and implement improvements when identified with a move towards video content

    • LinkedIn company page – create and manage the global company & subsidiary pages ensuring effective and current content is displayed that engages Talent in our business



  • Design and deliver relevant training programmes for hiring managers for delivery at company Management Development Programme and Interview & Selection Skills Programme

  • Manage annual calendar of events ensuring Talent team is visible and active in the relevant employment markets generating fresh leads for the Talent Bank

  • Take an active and lead role in facilitation of company apprentice / internships and graduate schemes

  • Ensure Recruitment budget is adhered to and exploited to ensure the optimum success for the department

  • Continuously review direct attraction methods through research and training to ensure LNE practices remain relevant and competitive in the online recruitment marketplace

  • Build relationships with HR Managers/Line managers within the business to understand and assist them with their recruitment needs while providing appropriate levels of challenge and questioning on resourcing decisions

  • Maintain a high level of external recruitment knowledge e.g. suppliers, media, social trends, legislative change and provide advice and guidance accordingly

  • Ensure LNE is targeting the right employment markets to fulfil business requirements while also remaining diverse in our approach

  • Generate regular recruitment MI and cascade as necessary

  • Promote the use of best practice to businesses in all stages of the external resourcing cycle.

  • Review & analyse external trends and developments within recruitment to support the review of recruitment strategy, systems, processes and practices resulting in recommendations for improvement

  • Any additional duties or project work as directed by the VP HR International
