Program Manager – Channel Enablement and Competency Programs, CHINA



Base Location: Beijing/Shanghai



Position Summary



This position is reporting into APJ Channel Enablement & Competency Programs, Director.



Key Responsibilities include :

a) Leading and driving channel partners certification ie promoting partners from a registered status to a Preferred or Premier level.

b) GOTO person to manage all partner Certifications, Competency and Enablement Channel programs in China.

c) This role requires strong collaborative and organization agility to ensure that all APJ aligned Channel Enablement and Competency programs are fully aligned and adopted by in-country Channel leaders.

d) This person is also required to drive adoption, tracking and report on all aligned programs

e) Thus this role requires strong analytical, communication and presentation skills.

f) He/she will be driving consistency of the processes within China by following APJ rules of PartnerDirect Competency programs, operating on PartnerDirect LMS (NetExam).

g) This role will also require the person to maintain a Partner Resource Desk to drive for greater partners experience on Enablement and Competency programs.

h) This role will also require the person to organize Partners Events to launch all aligned programs. Thus this role will require the person to work with marketing/event agencies.



Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive China PartnerDirect Partner Certification, Review and Audit.

• Responsible for ensuring timely launch, track and reporting of all aligned Enablement and Competency programs in China.

• Responsible for all needed translation of contents for portal/communications.

• Responsible for the maintenance of the China’s Partners’ Resource Desk. Need to ensure timely response to all queries ie 24 business hours.

• Provide timely reporting of China Channel Certification and Enablement KPIs

• Drive adoption of industry channel best practices and usage of channel APJ platforms and systems

• Manage, Identify process, systems and infrastructure gaps and collaborate with cross functional and APJ teams to drive resolution and innovative solutions



Qualifications Qualifications/Experience



• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent



• Fluent in both written and spoken English as well as Mandarin



• Minimum 8 – 10 years of experience in the IT industry with a track record of measurable results



• Good organizational agility, collaborative & communication skills. Also possess strong interpersonal skills to work effectively across functions.



• Strong IT technical background, having pre-sales working experience, with good understanding of Channel culture Preferred. Having training delivery experience will be strongly preferred.



• Is detailed and have strong project management skills. Able to multi-task is also critical. Excel and PPT skills are highly preferred.



• Other success attributes include being fast learner, results-oriented, analytical, mature



• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment.



• Willing to travel as required to meet with partners as and when required.
