Are you a web designer that loves to dive in and bring the design to life? Are you excited about the engaging with people, understanding how to present content, helping people learn, and love to leverage the latest tools? Are you a creative designer with demonstrable technical experience?
If so, the Industry team is hiring a web designer/developer to help us continue to design and build the Salesforce Industries internal website. The purpose of the site is to present curated industry content, in a consumable manner, to our primary audience of sales, customer success, and marketing. We're looking for a candidate who cares deeply about design, presentation of information, ease of navigation and use. This candidate should be very strong working in the Salesforce environment, html, css, bootstrap, and javascript.
This is not your typical website design or development position. Our team is focused on the rapid changes of sales priorities, diversity of industries, the continually changing demands within industries, while working against short deadlines. We need someone who follows modern web development trends.
You will be working with a highly driven team that has delivered successful content to the teams around the world. Please prepare an online portfolio of your work and include a link to it on your resume.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom UX/UI, build attractive responsive websites on top of Salesforce technologies - force.com
- Enhance current internal website with slick user interface animations, transitions, and elements
- Work hand-in hand with Industries, Sales, Readiness executive teams to determine updates to the site.
- Create and maintain an architecture that allows content owners to update content easily
Required Skills
- B.S. Computer Science
- 2-4 years responsive website design experience
- 2-4 years of front-end development experience (HTML, CSS, Javascript)
- 2-4 years force.com developer experience and building apps on the Salesforce platform
- Previous project management experience in managing a website design, build, and deployment
- Outstanding oral & written communication skills
- Exception team player with proven ability to lead through influence
