Product Operations Engineer

· Represent Global Operations Engineering from a product and supply chain perspective as a Core Team member
· Ensure Product Operations engineering needs in the Phase Review Process are represented at Core team.
· Ensure Core team has completed all tasks in support of Product Operations readiness.
· Manage the Operations Extended Team, which has overall responsibility for supply chain readiness in terms of manufacturing capacity analysis and planning and execution.
· Create Operations Functional Plan, including global Dell and supplier factory manufacturing strategies and clean product launch plans, based on product roadmaps and technologies.
· Utilize key metrics to continuously improve the new product introduction process and product quality for Dell and suppliers.
· Drive operational strategies in support of organizational, functional, and product goals.
· Lead extended team to execute a clean product launch and ensure Operations achieves Ready to Ship Release and stable transition into production/sustaining.
· Partner with Supply Chain Management to drive action plans and fulfillment model options to reduce overall manufacturing transformation cost across supply chain
· Lead risk analysis & mitigation planning of new product design from concept through development process (working with the advanced engineering teams and others) to identify areas of operational constraints and opportunities to enable launch success; provide operational inputs to new product NUDD analysis.
· Partner with Product Group Quality to drive product and process quality improvements to meet key business metrics by eliminating sources of defects in the design, supplier, new product introduction, and manufacturing processes.
· Drive continuous improvement in OLP process, product manufacturability fulfillment flexibility, operations cycle time, and product/process quality.
· Partner with PG Quality to lead product and process postmortems/Lesson Learned (LL) review to push LL into next generation product design improvement, to drive preventative actions, and process improvement plans.
· Drive Engineering Hold and Supply Chain excursion management through root cause analysis, implementation and validation of closed-loop preventative/corrective actions (CLCA).
· Manage supplier to ensure WW production readiness of components and assemblies and to drive operational improvement initiatives
· Work closely with suppliers, procurement, and extended teams to ensure production capability, capacity, and continuity of supply for specific components, subassembly or system assembly.
· Provide direct input into Program Concept Phase Risk Analysis including Operational constraints, mitigation plans and other NUDD
· As required, lead detailed data analysis, goal setting and communication with suppliers and internal teams
· Provide input to Quarterly Business Review (QBR) and Executive Focused Supplier Review (EFSR) process. Works with the supplier to develop and implement quality management plans to drive quality improvements and initiatives.
Qualifications :
1. Master Degree
2. Engineering background
3. CET-6 & fluent in oral speaking English
4. Good at communications
5. Good at MS office tools
