Oracle Hospitality Managed Cloud & SaaS Services is the fasting growing area within Oracle.  We are currently seeking industry top talent to help support the MICROS Hospitality Brand’s business transformation from an on-Premise solution to a globally distributed, cloud based hosted solution. As the Hotel Application Architect, you will focus on design, delivery and being the technology expert for Hotel Application functionality for our hosted customer base worldwide.  This position will have end-to-end responsibility for Hosted Architecture solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Build and manage a high-performing global hospitality architecture
  • Engage, inspire and lead associates at all levels of the organization
  • Develop and mentor staff in technology and design solutions
  • Deliver world class Hospitality products in a hosted environments in all regions in which Oracle Hospitality and the MICROS brand is found and Managed Cloud & SaaS Services operates
  • Ensure worldwide consistency in ITIL based operational process
  • Define Oracle Hospitality MICROS Brand Managed Cloud & SaaS Services technology stacks for Hospitality solutions training curriculum leveraging Oracle University
  • Partner with Oracle Hospitality Account Management teams to participate in frequent customer performance reviews and roadmap/planning sessions
  • Partner with Oracle Hospitality Managed Cloud & SaaS Services Business Operations for all capital planning and forecasting activities.
  • Provide ongoing performance feedback and key metrics back to our software and engineering development teams
  • Perform regular process improvement audits and regular management reporting on productivity and efficiency
  • Partner with Oracle Hospitality Managed Cloud & SaaS Services Global Operations to ensure quality and consistency in the delivery of all 24x7x365 operations
  • Partner with Oracle Hospitality Managed Cloud & SaaS Services Solution Engineering to ensure quality of design and pricing for custom customer environments
  • Partner with Oracle Hospitality Managed Cloud & SaaS Services Architecture & Engineering to define and implement Oracle Hospitality build standards for hosted infrastructure design and ongoing L3 core engineering support
  • Partner with Oracle Hospitality Managed Cloud & SaaS Services Tools & Innovation to define and implement standards for tools and automation related to build and maintenances
  • Partner with Oracle Hospitality R&D to ensure managed services requirements are clear and rational, making trade-offs as needed and delivering a finished product that achieves its goals on schedule
  • Partner with vertical professional services teams to insure an smooth transition from local implementation to the day two hosted experience
  • Strive to consistently improve customer satisfaction, delivery times and service levels while reducing costs
  • Excel at strategic planning and communication
  • Serve as an evangelist internally and externally for the Oracle Hospitality Managed Cloud & SaaS Services operational experience
  • Create and contribute to an environment that is geared to innovation, high productivity, high quality and customer service
  • Assist Sales teams in customer facing environments promoting Oracle Hospitality Managed Cloud & SaaS Services
