- Review design and fulfill all IBM Power, LPAR, Sun and HPUX systems requests via TCRS/P2P/Aperture.

- Perform site survey for Frame POD placement facilitating seamless tech refresh and improve overall CIS experience.

- IMS inventory addition / redeploy servers for Asia (DC and tech rooms)

- Review AIX hardware cost against global bundle, participate in global RFP and ensure cost is in line.

- Facilitate pro-active capacity review for IBM AIX (closely work with capacity management team)

- track and report SLAs

- co-ordinate global TCRS execution



Qualifications



- Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering or B.Tech or Master’s degree with at least 5 years of experience in IT with good communication skills and attitude.



- Strong knowledge and hands on experience in IBM Power, SUN/Unix platforms (preferably IBM Power 5xx, 7xx and Sun servers)



- Strong knowledge in infrastructure components & basic technologies like TCP/IP, Network switches, routers, Servers, DNS, DHCP, etc.



- Experience in project integration activities like interfacing with various teams (Vendors, Facilities, Engineers, Rack & Stack Team)



- Self- motivated, result oriented team player.



- Having knowledge in monitoring tools, enterprise tools like ServiceNow, Remedy, Aperture, Tivoli will be an added advantage.



- Good reporting skills



- Strong influential skills
