Sr. Workplace Services Coordinator - Food Services
Location: San Francisco, CA
The Sr. Workplace Coordinator for Food Services is responsible for maintaining the snack program, cafe and coffee bars in Headquarters as well as working to implement a streamlined service for onsite catering Under direction from the San Francisco HQ Area Manager, this WPS Coordinator organizes, directs and coordinates maintenance, safety, vendor relations and program management functions.
Works cross departmentally to ensure a safe, clean, and effective environment for Salesforce customers, employees, guests, and internal companies. When assigned the WPS Coordinator plans, organizes, and coordinates the full range of duties related to servicing, cleaning, maintaining, and any repair needs to keep the snack/food program, cafe and coffee bars functioning.
In this role, the WPS Coordinator will work directly with the HQ Area Manager to facilitate organizational change by planning and executing projects including assisting event coordinator and ARC. This individual will partner with and form a cooperative relationship and interface between building management, engineering, and/or those responsible for maintenance and operation of the facilities (Building Engineers, security contractors, janitorial services, and other various aspects of facility operations). This position will ensure that program problems are identified and repaired quickly, will ensure that building management is delivering quality services, and will make sure that all internal customer demands are being met.
Helps Maintains and respond to the internal Salesforce Workplace Services - DremJobCentral ticketing system daily and completes open tickets in a timely manner with as little disruption to company daily operations. This individual will work to find creative ways to keep operational costs to a minimum and will work outside of the box with team members to improve efficiency and implement new facility procedures. Responsible for setting up/maintaining a one stop shop for catering services for HQ.
Assists WPS Events Coordinator and supports daily conference room table set ups and configurations to meet the needs of internal/external trainings and meetings. Coordinate installation and repair dates and times with cafe and coffee barista bar. Assists when needed with the ARC team and any areas of need with regard to Hospitality.
Job Requirements:
• Ability to: Plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and supervise work in the assigned functional areas; gather, assemble, analyze, and evaluate issues, data, and other information in order to draw reasonable and fair conclusions and make sound decisions; serve as a credible advisor to the HQ Workplace Services Manager; maintain records and reports; communicate effectively, orally and in writing; establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
• Ability to adapt to company growth and new direction.
• Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Must have excellent verbal aptitude and public speaking ability.
• Availability to work O.T. hours particularly in support of after hour events.
• Familiarity with corporate purchasing processes.
• Responsible for all areas related to Food Services at HQ, including snack vendors, cafe and Barista bars and catering services.
Daily Job Responsibilities
• Facilitate daily requirements with regard to Food Services.
• Manage and administer ticket submittals for SFDC Workplace in Dreamjob Central.
• Set up and submit building access forms for after hours work.
• Work with other business unit representatives and WPS manager on all areas regarding food services.
• Help develop and organize a company policy with regard to caterers/food service vendors.
Qualifications:
• Two year college degree preferred.
• Customer Service Experience.
• Minimum 2 years of related hands-on Workplace Services experience required.
• Must be competent in the use of corporate administrative tools, Microsoft and Google office tools.
• Ability to contribute successfully to cross functional teams required.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to multi-task required.
• Self starter: can make decisions on the spot
• Handle self with minimal supervision
• Must have a great can do attitude and willingness to do physical tasks to complete a job.
• Great communicator.
