Job Description

Dell Inc.'s wholly owned subsidiary Dell Services Federal Government seeks a qualified Government Program Manager/ Senior Advisor to assist one of DSFG's contracts located at the Navy Yard in Washington, DC. The Program Manager/Senior Advisor will be responsible for providing support, analysis, communication and additional client service. This is a great opportunity for individuals with vast experience supporting government clients to further their careers in alignment with DSFG's initiatives. The main function is to perform installation, modification, testing, and servicing on all converged network communications equipment. The right individual will need to be able to effectively communicate with all stakeholders. The right individual will have experience with family defining the value proposition, work plan, resource needs, timeline and budget for projects. The Program Manager/ Senior Advisor is responsible for managing related projects in a coordinated way to obtain benefits and control not available from managing them separately. They will also be responsible for coordinating multiple project managers dedicated to a common project or a small number of large/highly complex customer projects/deliverables.

Required Skills

-Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and technical writing skills
-5 years of Customer Service
-5 years of Government Program experience

Desired Skills

Knowledge of Quality Assurance
Primary focus is Program Management of a Quality Assurance Program
BS Mechanical Engineering a plus

Education

Bachelors Degree or higher.

Experience

Typically requires at least 10* years relevant experience without a Degree; 6+ years relevant experience with Undergraduate Degree; 4+ years relevant experience with Graduate Degree

Requirements

Ability to travel twice daily from office to customer site (approx. 1/2 mile). Ability to lift and carry 75 lbs while on travel.
