Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

As a Small- to Medium-sized Business (SMB) Sales Agency Manager, you mange SMB relationships and spearhead the Sales engagement with major SMB agencies in the market. You enable your team to always reach for ambitious performance goals. You and your team work with a wide variety of top SMB agencies delivering the optimal advertising solution for every partner and their clients. You have knowledge of agency landscape and sales skills. Engaging with executives in key SMB managed agencies, you set the vision and the strategy for how they can grow and transform their business.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and strengthen executive-level agency relations through key C-level meetings, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and speaking engagements. Deliver business growth, engagement and client satisfaction targets for a portfolio of top SMB managed agencies in your market.
  • Recruit, retain and lead the team of SMB Sales agency development managers and Agency account strategists, to ensure improved same-store-growth, high agency satisfaction and enhanced portfolio health.
  • Coach a high-performing team and help them engage with senior stakeholders in the top SMB agencies. Build and actively manage effective long-term agency planning process. Define the future of at scale agency management and help develop necessary infrastructure and processes. Initiate and run strategic initiatives to further develop new and existing SMB agency business.
  • Work closely with country head, in-country agency leads, and New Business Sales (NBS) to align with Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) with the global SMB Sales priorities. Partner with NBS to define a list of high potential prospects, both net new and existing accounts.


  • Minimum qualifications
  • MBA degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience at an advertising agency, and/or consumer product marketing and brand management for a brand.
  • 6 years of sales delivery/client engagement, operations experience and partner management.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.


  • Preferred qualifications
  • 4 years of people management experience.
  • Experience in building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in digital marketing with platforms, agencies and partners.
  • Ability to influence team members and senior stakeholder management.
  • Deep knowledge of digital media. Demonstrated diverse cultural understanding and be comfortable working with global teams.
  • Strong people management skills. Excellent analytical, problem-solving and verbal skills.
