Team Salesforce SMB is looking for a rock star marketer who’s dynamic, creative, and has great interpersonal skills to help build out the best SMB Experience at Dreamforce that we have ever seen. Dreamforce is the largest enterprise technology conference in the world and in October 2014 we will host thousands of small and medium businesses as a part of this experience. Building on the knowledge and experiences we have developed over the past 2 years this person will help to develop solutions messaging to clearly explain our solutions to new and existing customers, while working cross functionally to execute on sessions, booths, parties, partner events, you name it. Here’s what you’d be doing:
• Work with the industry’s most innovative marketing teams to develop demand generation content to invite SMBs worldwide to attend Dreamforce
• Work with the world’s best event team to plan and execute an innovative and engaging SMB experience within the Dreamforce campus
• Work with the SMB demand generation team to ensure the SMB Experience aligns to product, pipeline and other goals for our SMB business
• Lead product marketing and content creators to deliver a robust set of content for SMB attendees to Dreamforce
• Plan and execute the best ever SMB welcome party at Dreamforce
• Interact and define the relationship between partners, partner marketing and the SMB Experience at Dreamforce
• Collaborate with sales leaders to ensure SMB Experience aligns to sales pipeline objectives and the value they believe can help attract more SMBs to Dreamforce on marketing effectiveness and develop ways to learn from experiments to constantly improve
• Communicate effectively and often to ensure all stakeholders are aligned.
Experience/Skills Required or Desired:
• 1-2 years of experience discussing marketing strategy and execution
• 1 year or semester of internship in marketing to understand lingo and jargon
• Past experience in using salesforce and/or other marketing tools such as Marketo, Eloqua, Responsys, Google Analytics, Omniture, etc.
• High energy and the ability to manage multiple initiatives
• Works well under pressure or in a high growth environment that is constantly changing
• Track record for delivering under tight deadlines
• Strong understanding of demand generation and a track record of owning campaigns and driving success
