You'll be a champion of Google's culture and values, partnering with our business leaders to help them build their organizations and make sure all people decisions are based on data. Whether coaching our clients on how to lead their teams, navigating and resolving employee relations issues or managing programs that help develop our Googlers, you are exceptionally focused on putting them first, and being as clear and transparent as possible to help Googlers understand how people decisions get made.
Responsibilities
- Lead client group through core HR processes (e.g., performance management, compensation planning, engagement surveys).
- Coordinate on-site HR related processes such as on-site assistance for our Immigration and Benefits teams, provide insightful data to guide decision making and provide proactive solutions.
- Offer thought-leadership regarding organizational and people-related strategy and execution.
- Drive people management excellence using communications, coaching and organizational design, partnering with other HR Business Partners, Coordinators and central functions to execute these programs.
- Develop people strategies and design approaches for diagnosing and enhancing organizational effectiveness and employee satisfaction.
Minimum qualifications
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of HR Business Partner, Management/Business Consulting, or relevant experience.
Preferred qualifications
- Strong mindset for continuous improvement and meeting or exceeding client expectations.
- Comfortable rolling up your sleeves to get things done, and at the next moment being part of deeply complex strategy discussions.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with proven ability to organize and analyze data.
- Strong consulting and coaching skills and the ability to build strong relationships with different people across the organization, both internationally and locally.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy.
