ADP is looking for a highly-driven and self-motivated Solution Architect who will have the opportunity to work with internal clients to develop high level solutions that will dramatically improve processes, capabilities, stability and performance across out business operations. Researching and designing solutions for projects that may span multiple platforms or domains, you will work closely with Project Managers, Product owners, Sponsors and other architects. As a Solutions Architect, you will play a key role in driving the technical direction ADP takes with its internal IT solutions. You will be responsible for ensuring your solutions are aligned with those architectures and roadmaps within the platforms and domains you support, along with the overreaching enterprise architectural direction.



Solution Architect (.NET)



The Solution Architect is responsible for translating functional and nonfunctional requirements into the blueprint for the solution that delivers business value via alignment with the business strategic vision. Key to the solution architects success is the ability to influence and communicate effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders: executives, business staff and developers in their parlance.



Expectations:



· Define solutions for heterogeneous environments that span across functional, technical, and business domains



· Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and maintain business solutions following Agile development principles and practices



· Is influential and engages actively in building out a dynamic and productive development organization and continuously improving practices and methodology



· Designs and develops innovative solutions, documents technical specifications, with an eye towards simplicity, reliability, manageability, scalability, extensibility, performance and re-use



· Evolves existing application architectures, able to envision and communicate how the architecture of an application transitions through the phases from beginning to end state.



· Provide technical expertise and mentorship in the areas of architecture, design, implementation, and testing



· Expected to be knowledgeable and 'hands-on' in development, actively pairing with the development team in coding and delivering the solutions whenever possible



Experience, Skills, Academic:

· 10+ years of development experience



· Broad experience with multiple software and hardware environments including Enterprise environments



· Deep hands-on knowledge of Microsoft technologies



· Proven track record of leading and delivering enterprise-wide solutions that aligned architectural and business goals.



· Expert understanding of object-oriented programming and computer science foundations



· Hands-on experience designing and building scalable, high frequency and low latency web applications



· Strong experience working with n-tier architectures and service-oriented architectures



· Ability to transform feedback into better product designs



· Desired hands on experience with Agile methodologies
