Job Description



ADP is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst, Finance. The Sr. Analyst, Business Analysis will support the VP, Business Analysis and the Sr. Director Finance, Strategic Initiatives in partnering with the Service and Business leaders and providing strategic, analytical and financial insight that lead to the achievement of financial and business goals.

The Senior Analyst, Business Analysis is responsible for providing critical decision-support analytics, business partnering, and support for key Strategic and Operational initiatives business management and other partners. The Senior Analyst assists with the creation of complex financial models, completes research and analysis of trends, and understands and provides key productivity metrics with other leading indicators and business statistics. Utilizing ADP's data infrastructure by extracting, aggregating, and dissecting financial data and performance metrics, the Senior Analyst highlights findings for management action. In addition, the Senior Analyst performs research and leverages internal and external data to provide input for business case development.

  • Business Analysis: Uses deep understanding of objectives, issues and root causes and provides insightful, fact-based data analysis to help solve complex problems· Creates financial models, research and analyses of trends, leading indicators and business statistics· Utilizes data infrastructure by extracting, aggregating, and dissecting financial data and performance metrics; highlights findings for management review.

  • Business Partnering: Partners with Key Stakeholders and Business Partners to align on business priorities and drive effective solutions/execution. Constructively communicates compelling arguments based on facts and data, and obtains necessary buy-in to deliver on business objectives.

  • Strategic Planning and Initiatives: Supports Finance leadership in assisting management to develop strategies and initiatives to drive growth and margin improvements. Assists in the development of business cases and recommendations on financial strategies focused on business growth/market presence and margin improvement.

  • Financial Operational Policy: Ensures continued compliance with Sales policies and procedures.

  • Talent Development and Management: Deliberately builds capability for short and long term. Shares skills and knowledge with colleagues - helps to develop others, coaches new or more junior associates.

  • Management Reporting and Financial Close Activities: Produces and distributes recurring and ad hoc management reports. Responsible for financial reporting accuracy; partners with shared services organizations and ensures adequate control environment to mitigate financial and business risks in collaboration with process owners.


QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:


  • BS -- Accounting , Finance, Economics or equivalent

  • MBA or credits toward MBA, or MS in Business Analytics or similar degree

  • Post MBA Internship

  • Consulting Experience·

  • Experience leading small projects






PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

  • Information Management Acumen: Has advanced desktop application and data modeling skills and full understanding of systems.
