Behind every advertising campaign at Google are systems to make it run. Behind those systems are Googlers who advise and partner with our users and customers. As an Advertiser Solutions Consultant you will support clients using our DoubleClick products, including mobile and rich media. Your projects will include business pitches, product implementation and upgrades, and custom solutions. Customers will look to your expertise on product configuration and business processes, combining your deep understanding of DoubleClick products with industry best practices.
As an Ads Performance Specialist, you will lead customers’ product needs assessments and day-to-day technical escalations to help maintain the success of our largest Google customers.
You bring a proven track record of analytical problem-solving and the ability to absorb complex technical concepts and communicate them to both technical and non-technical audiences alike. You have both the ability to interact with product operations teams, as well as excellent relationship-building and communication skills. You are also someone who can identify opportunities for increased efficiencies, and work with a cross-functional team to continuously improve our products and operations. You're already familiar with online advertising and have experience working within the industry.
You will work on several Google Performance Products (Shopping/Product Listing Ads, Mobile Apps, Dynamic Remarketing, Google Tag Manager).

Responsibilities
- Maximize business growth by ensuring high adoption/usage of your product in the market and be the primary day-to-day technical contact for our client set, providing prompt, professional consultative support and service to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction (Sample activities could include: Technical feasibility assessments and technical advisory on complex ad products (e.g. requiring tagging and/or data feeds)
- Lead product launches (post-beta) in region including training for cross-functional teams where needed. Partner with Sales and client facing teams to scope and collect client requirements, provide guidance on best practices, and apply technology and product knowledge to address customer's business and technology needs; coordinate with advertisers' technical teams and co-own the implementation of performance based ad products
- Collaborate with internal and external technical and developer teams to drive communication, prioritization, analysis, and resolution of customer challenges and issues. Participate in the analysis and research for complex technical issues and work with senior product escalation teams
- Maintain industry, Google product, and customer knowledge to provide successful ad management operational and technical consultation. Lead or contribute to projects that increase operational efficiency by developing internal and external tools
- Identify opportunities for scaling our products and support through process improvements and refinements using data insights. Close the feedback loop for clients and Sales teams by escalating bugs and feature requests to the global Product Operations team
Minimum qualifications
- BA/BSc degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with client side web technologies; HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with SQL, XML, HTTP protocols and one Object Oriented language.
Preferred qualifications
- BA/BSc or equivalent in a technical field, computer science.
- Experience with search market or online ad sales.
- Experience with Internet technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, Flash, SQL databases and scripting languages such as PHP, Python.
- Expert knowledge with Ads and Analytics products.
