Oracle Marketing Cloud - Customer Success Manager

Previously, marketing software was niche, cool, a low-value sale and sometimes under-valued in terms of company investment. Now, with CMO's set to outspend CIO's by 2017,tier 1 software vendors are sitting up, taking note and getting on board. There are many marketing software players currently but how many will exist in 12months?
Oracle is serious about our commitment to providing the most comprehensive, ground-breaking and contemporary marketing software solutions to the marketing industry. So serious, we acquired Eloqua, Compendium, Responsys and BlueKai whom together as our Marketing Cloud, have overtaken the competition who are now having to play catch-up.
To help us retain our Oracle Marketing Cloud customers long-term, we need an experienced Enterprise Account Manager within our Customer Success Team who's goals will be retention and growth within a defined portfolio of accounts.
Responsibilities will include
- Managing a set of your own customer accounts
- Ensuring complete customer satisfaction
- Ensuring customer contract renewals
- Increasing customer revenue
- Driving up-sell and cross-sell opportunities
- Enhancing customer’s Marketing Success
- Supporting the Director of the APAC Customer Success Team
You have an outstanding customer orientation along with a passion and ability to develop a deep understanding for: 1. The Oracle Marketing Cloud solutions and how clients should use our software and services and 2. The online marketing processes, goals, and objectives of your customer base.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Extensive business experience working with prospects and customers in a sales, service, or marketing capacity.
- Experience/education in digital marketing a significant plus.
- Passion for servicing customers to achieve outstanding satisfaction.
- First class account management and business development experience identifying, developing and closing opportunities and expanded business relationships.
- Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) enterprise software applications from a user standpoint. Examples include CRM, BI, web analytics, and campaign management applications.
- Strong communication skills (both oral and written).
- Excellent negotiation & influencing skills
- Prior experience with administering contracts and documenting account plans.
- Exceptional time and task management skills as well a strong process orientation.
- Problem solving skills in both business and technical environments; understand issues, anticipate needs, and drive problems to resolution.
- Ability to work independently, learn quickly and be proactive.
- Strong organization follow-through and documentation skills suitable for client communication.
- Periodic face-time with customers is crucial and thus some may be required based on location of assigned clients.
