Korea Communications Intern 2015

During a 6 month full-time paid internship, you will work cross-functionally to help communicate with journalists and other thought leaders; devise specific communications materials and campaigns on Google and our products. You will also execute various press events including press conferences and media interviews and take part in exciting and rewarding projects such as developing and executing community support programs in Korea. You will have a chance to operate Google Korea’s Social Networking Site (SNS) channels such as Google+, blog and will work on developing pitching materials on Google’s products and cases of successful developers and creators.
You will be assigned an intern manager who will help identify project goals, inspire, mentor you and support your professional development.

Responsibilities
- Develop pitching materials and case studies on our products and partners for the press
- Execute press event such as press conferences and interviews etc.

Minimum qualifications
- Be currently enrolled in university, in penultimate year of study graduating in 2016.
- Be able to complete a minimum 6 month full time internship at Seoul office starting between May and July 2015. We will accommodate your school schedule when determining the start date and duration.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience as a student reporter.
- Able to come up with proactive story ideas.
- Self starter and team player. Collaborative, optimistic and open-minded.
- Strong interest in the Internet and Google’s technology and business.
- Excellent project management, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Korean and English.
