The Database Security Group is chartered to provide security infrastructure components for Oracle product groups and develop security products/solutions for Oracle customers. Our team within the Database Security Group is responsible for building the Oracle Audit Vault and Database Firewall solution. Oracle Audit Vault and Database Firewall consolidates and collates audit data, and monitors Oracle and non-Oracle database traffic, to detect and block threats, as well as improves compliance reporting by consolidating audit data from databases, operating systems, directories, and other sources. Highly accurate SQL grammar-based technology blocks unauthorized transactions, helping prevent internal and external attacks from reaching the database.

We are looking for software development engineers who are experts in the field of Oracle database development using SQL and PL/SQL. Relational Data Modeling experience is required. In addition, experience with either C / C++ or Java is required. Experience administering an Oracle database is a definite plus. Additional software development experience in Oracle Application Express is desirable.

Detailed job requirements are:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related fields is required,


• At least four years of relevant work experience is required,


• Expertise in Oracle database development using SQL and PL/SQL is required,


• 4+ years of experience with either C / C++ or Java is required,


• Experience developing moderately complex relation data models is required,


• Oracle DBA experience is desirable,


• Oracle Application Express development experience, and any other software development experience is a plus,


• Works well in a team environment with a can-do attitude.
