Job Description:
Support the Salesforce Strategic Events program with a focus on establishing and/or extending the Salesforce Core and Marketing Cloud brand, supporting demand generation campaigns and creating amazing attendee experiences at proprietary events. This role would report to the Senior Manager, Strategic Events and work closely with the entire Strategic Events team, as well as internal creative, campaign, field marketing, marketing operations, digital communications and product marketing teams to execute World Tour events and Connections, as well as, targeted third party and internal events where applicable.
Responsibilities:
• Help Execute World Tour events globally
• Support the team to determine best strategy at events to garner the highest ROI (measured by leads/opportunities, consistent messaging and branding, client engagement)
• Ongoing communication with sessions owners; responsible for following up on deadlines & deliverables, sharing templates, organizing monthly/weekly calls, etc.
• Manage the dissemination of information received from Call for Stories to the appropriate track/session owners.
• Chatter & Communities master: push all relevant information to Chatter and Communities
• Helped create marketing collateral used as talking points for our sales teams on calls w/ prospects and customers
• Assist with managing speaker rehearsal schedule
• Assist with managing speaker travel/logistics
• Onsite assistance at events: ensure all rooms are set appropriately, gifts are where they need to be, AV is accounted for, queueing is running smoothly and all other things related to troubleshooting onsite
• Assist in the planning and management of internal corporate events where applicable
