POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a creative principal developer/engineer to join the ADP Tax Credits product development team. You will research, conceptualize and develop software applications for our next-generation platform. You will need to find simple and innovative solutions to solve complex business needs, through technologies in mobile/UI, APIs/Web Services and databases. You must be curious about technology, motivated to experiment and develop ideas into product features.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Contribute and be part of a high-performing engineering team
• Design, develop and architect product features, RESTful APIs, mobile/responsive UI applications
• Collaborate with product management on new feature development
• Design for scalability, solve issues that arise in a high-volume environment
• Learn new technologies, disseminate and incorporate leading edge technology
  

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Minimum of 12 years of experience in building scalable enterprise/consumer applications
  Strong product development experience and highly proficient with Java/JEE technologies.
• Strong experience designing RESTful APIs including best practices in its design with XML and JSON.
• Strong relational database knowledge/experience (e.g. Oracle) is a plus.
• Education: Bachelor or MS degrees in computer science or related field
