Sr. Business Systems Analyst- Round Rock, TX
Dell IT is seeking a motivated professional with Testing/Developer acumen to join our team as a Sr. Business Systems Analyst within the Delta Eco System. The candidate should be experienced in leading complex projects and a team of more than 7 members. Should be able to plan, analyze and conduct thorough quality-control tests to ensure that software operates properly, is defect-free, and meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements. They should be able to document and work to resolve any problems/issues. Reports progress on problem resolution to leadership. Devises improvements to current procedures and develops models of possible future configurations.
Role Responsibilities
- Contribute towards the SDET Role
- Lead complex projects comprising a team of more than 7 members and 20+ Interlock applications
- Effective and Concise Status Reporting
- Estimation and Resource planning
- Drafts and revises test plans and scripts with consideration to end-to-end system flows.
- Executes test scripts according to application requirements documentation
- May act as a project test lead and provide direction to lower level testers.
- Retests software corrections to ensure problems are resolved.
- Documents evolution of testing procedures for future replication.
- Identifies, recommends and implements process improvements to enhance testing strategies.
- Develops complex solutions to business problems or customer engagements through in-depth analysis, coordination and negotiation with key decision makers.
Relationships
- Contributes to business results through quality of results, advice and decisions.
- Develops standards around which others will operate.
- Designs and develops global processes, systems and/or applications.
- Contributes to Dell thought leadership.
- Influences a broad spectrum of stakeholders toward achieving business goals.

QualificationsRequirements
- Working Experience/Business knowledge of the Delta Application and interlocks which are part of the Delta Eco System
- Good understanding of SDLC and testing processes/practices
- Candidate should have 10-15 years of experience in Testing / Development Background. (Seibel Preferred)
- Must have experience in Automation using OATS, Selenium etc.. Should have minimum 3.5+ years of experience on Automation and implementation.
- Must have knowledge on Core Java and should have Prior experience on Java scripting.
- Candidate should be able to understand the functional requirements and perform automation of the Functional requirements during development phase.
- Knowledge on Oracle database is must. Should be good in SQL Queries.
- Should possess strong communication skills and be a good team player.
- Should be able to work alone in Agile Methodology. Work with stakeholders, scrum master and Product owners closely on daily basis.
- Should be proficient in testing methodologies and principles.
- Demonstrated skill in testing enterprise distributed systems is strongly desired
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to root cause complex issues required
- Demonstrated skill using code repositories, preferably Microsoft TFS
- Knowledge of using plug-in tools and other open source tools
- Knowledge of performance and scalability test approaches and automation
- Good Knowledge in programing languages mandatory
