Sales Operations Analyst

The Sales Operations Analyst is a high visibility business advisor to the leaders of our largest growing business at one of the fastest growing companies in the world. This role will allow the ideal candidate to assume a critical operating role with a pre-eminent brand in the social media. The Analyst will get experience cracking the most important operational issues for our executives and running the normal operational reporting for the region.

Objectives
  • Manage the operational cadence of the region including day-to-day management of items such as:
  • Quotas
  • Territories
  • Churn
  • Rules of Engagement support
  • Automation and efficiency:
  • Continuous improvement of reporting through automation and process enhancement
  • Development of centralized tools/reports that Sales teams can use to extract data / insights
  • Complete decision-driving projects for our executives, including, but not limited to:
  • product mix analysis among sales reps and teams
  • territory optimization
  • sales incentive design and calculation methodology
  • process optimization
  • account potential and target setting
  • sales performance metrics, tracking, and reporting
  • Establish strong working relationships with business operations, sales leadership, compensation, finance, and systems teams to achieve above objectives
  • Become a “go-to” resource for senior leadership for ad-hoc analysis and projects to drive continued operational excellence in the region
  • Work with global sales operations to share and leverage best practices across regions
Skills
  • Degree in Economics, Finance and/or Business or BS in an analytical field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics) with 2 + years’ experience
  • Strong communication skills, including written and verbal communication experience with senior management
  • Excellent Excel skills are required; experience with Salesforce.com preferred
  • Experience working in high-growth, performance focused, team-based environments
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with deep interest and experience in analyzing data; ability to see beyond the numbers to drive sound decision-making
  • Ability to manage and drive multiple initiatives in a cross-functional environment
The ideal candidate will be passionate about LinkedIn’s vision and mission, interested in social selling, intellectually curious, a fast learner, and able to move rapidly while keeping focused on high impact projects.
