POSITION SUMMARY
As an expert in Agile methods you lead by example, passionately applying the Agile values and principles in all areas. In this role you provide leadership, coaching, and fulfill HR functions to multiple Scrum teams, facilitating their success through collaboration with other managers, Product Owners and stakeholders. You communicate team and release progress at all levels of the organization and are an active member of ADP's Agile Community.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Coach multiple Scrum teams by applying Agile values and principles
Report on release progress to Senior Management
Facilitate continuous improvement among teams and leadership
Fulfill HR functions for 10 - 15 direct reports
Contribute to market differentiating product enhancements by understanding industry trends and the
business behind our application

RESPONSIBILITIES
Coach multiple Scrum teams by applying Agile values and principles
Report on release progress to Senior Management
Facilitate continuous improvement among teams and leadership
Fulfill HR functions for 10 - 15 direct reports
Contribute to market differentiating product enhancements by understanding industry trends and the
business behind our application
Database:
· Highly proficient in SQL, and tuning of SQL in Oracle(Explain Plan, TKProf)
· Proficient in PL/SQL
· Hands-on experience with most aspects of database design including use of indexes, procedures
· Grounding in database partitioning, warehousing, and materialized views an asset
User Interface:
· Strength in writing maintainable JavaScript - understanding of concepts around JavaScript object-orientation and name-spacing
· Working experience with AJAX and one or more JavaScript toolkits such as DOJO
Java:
· JEE and Spring middle-tier frameworks
· JSF web-tier framework
· Java-based persistence frameworks, such as MyBatis
XML & Integration:
· XML file processing using tools like StAX, JAXB
· Web Services using REST
· Flat-file and XML based information transfer using HTTP, FTP and Web Services
Test:
· Unit testing and testing frameworks such as JUnit
· Actively following and advocating a TDD approach
· Understand use of automation, integration and unit tests
· Use Load Runner for load testing
Attributes:
· Agile practices, particularly Scrum
· Enthusiastic collaborators and consensus builders
· Adapt to the current needs of one's team
· Prove and refine designs through the use of automated testing techniques
· Break down large & complex requirements into incrementally deliverable & testable packages

Experience, Skills, Academic:
· Degree in computer science, management or equivalent
· 5 years' experience leading agile teams and managing associates
· Deep knowledge of and experience applying Agile values and principles
· Expert in Scrum framework; knowledgeable of other Agile/Lean methodologies
· Focused on continuous improvement
· Experienced Facilitator
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
Database:
