We are currently looking for a services-oriented Systems Integration Architect to join our team.
The Systems Integration Architect will lead, drive and provide advanced technical support to Dell Healthcare Services clients. You will partner with our customers in the strategic design process and translate business needs into technical systems solutions, integrating hardware, processes, methodologies, and software within the customer environment. You will be able to capitalize on experience to provide innovative architectural solutions and resolve difficult client problems where standard practice has failed.
***This is a virtual/remote role which will require up to 50% travel.
Responsibilities will include:
- Developing detailed solution architecture and design for new product enhancements
- Participation with the customer in the strategic design process and translates business needs into technical systems solutions
- Ensuring technical correctness and completeness of integrated systems designs for deployment
- Implementing technical solutions and management processes to achieve overall objectives by means of implementing systems or enterprise-wide solutions, using the company’s or a third-party’s hardware/software products and/or processes and methodologies
- Integrating solutions and strategies within the customer environment, based on the analysis of customer business goals, objectives, needs, and existing systems infrastructure
- Tying dissimilar components together into an aggregate system utilizing an understanding of the industry best practices and methodologies
- Assisting the sales organization and related Practice Areas as technical/industry subject matter experts
- Identifying additional product/services sales opportunities in customer organization
- Develop logical, yet innovative solutions to a variety of projects involving SOA, APIs and database components
- Tuning systems for optimal performance and characterize systems on multiple platform and configuration combinations
- Working with Engineering and program/account management team on timely resolutions
QualificationsRequirements
- Undergraduate degree and 6-8 years or Graduate degree and 4-6 years progressive relevant experience
- 7+ years of exposure to Java, J2EE, IIS, .NET and SOA technologies including SOAP web services, messaging, Apache, JBoss, ASP.NET
- 5+ years of exposure to Oracle/RDBMS – pl/sql
- 2+ years of Healthcare Industry (preferably with Health Plans or state healthcare exchanges)
- Broad understanding of systems integration practices
Preferences
- Customer facing experience
- Experience with web tuning skills using tools such as Java Grinder, Jmeter etc
- Java Enterprise Architect Certification
