CSME DirectorRole Overview:

The Dell UK business is looking for a leader to join the UK leadership team responsible for our Acquisition engine. This individual will also be responsible for the strategy and execution of our UK Acquisition business.

Role Responsibilities:

Influence and dotted line manage teams of high performing external and internal sales people across our Commercial segments, Direct and Channel – with responsibility for driving strategy, performance and development of the Acquisition focused individuals.



• Develop a clear strategy with the team members to drive Acquisition with the relevant business areas.

• Promote and sell Dell’s Enterprise Solutions, Client Solutions, Services and Software solutions across all vertical markets and accounts.

• Ensure that an outstanding customer experience is achieved.

• Working with and drive the virtual teams and partner teams to ensure alignment across the organization to meet our Acquisition customers’ needs.

• Meet face to face with key customers where required to support Acquisition business plans, growth and strategic alignment with Dell.

• Analyse and provide data that will highlight opportunities to further grow Dell’s Acquisition Business.

• Provide regular reporting in line with the Finance and Business Intelligence functions with a view to providing insights and strategic plans.

• Help manage activity levels within the account set including call activity, customer visits, pipeline management, opportunity development, etc.

• Lead the team members in terms of successfully winning bids and tenders.

• Leverage and maximize the use of all training resources.

• Drive department & functional engagement & drive strong leadership skills within in your peer group



QualificationsRole Requirements:

• The successful candidate will have a Sales background and strong Dell product knowledge.

• The successful candidate will also have strong leadership experience and a strong ability to influence the wider organisation.

• Experience and strong ability to liaise with customers at an executive level - face to face.

• Ability to multitask/run multiple activities concurrently. Effectively handle multiple ad-hoc activities.

• Strong analytical skills and must be comfortable with data.

• Strong drive for results, while retaining a focus on consistently delivering a great customer experience.

• Organisational agility; knowing how to get things done through formal and informal channels.
