Job Description
Dell Inc.'s wholly owned subsidiary Dell Services Federal Government seeks a qualified Lead Information Assurance Analyst to work on information security problems that are diverse and highly complex for a project in Washington DC. The Lead IA Analyst will be responsible for selecting methods and techniques for identifying and advocating effective security solutions. Develops approaches to address critical information security issues. Develops and administers schedules and performance requirements.The Lead IA Analyst will also be responsible for coordinating and operating multiple IA/Security projects as well as leading multiple efforts, collaborating with partners, and communicating the status to senior management.
Other responsibilities include:
*Building relationships and partner with IA/Security peers, Application and Infrastructure teams
*Establish processes and services to improve IA/Security controls
*Enable and champion an internal customer-oriented culture
*Oversee development of management processes and controls to ensure quality is maintained to meet business objectives
*Champion and promote service improvements on an ongoing basis to continually improve quality and customer satisfaction with IT Risk and Information Security services.
*Maintain the day-to-day collaborative relationships with the relevant internal stakeholder groups
*Develop and publish both recurring and ad hoc management reports
*Lead project development efforts within IT Risk, including roadmap and strategy
*Coordinate timelines and strategies
Required Skills
7 + years experience of which at least 5 years must be specialized in providing analysis related to the design, development, and integration of hardware, software, man-machine interfaces and all system level requirements to provide an integrated IT solution; developing integrated system test requirement, strategies, devices and systems; and directing overall system level testing.
-Demonstrated experience in recommending and implementing system enhancements including installing, upgrading/patching, monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration management
5+ years of experience in infrastructure planning , execution delivery and knowledge and experience with Red Hat Linux, Storage, Capacity Planning, Monitoring tools
6+ years of experience evaluating and proposing technical alternatives for resolving business and technology issues. Demonstrated experience in evaluating, proposing, implementing and managing software and hardware solutions in large-scale complex projects
5+ years developing and implementing information assurance/security standards and procedures, to develop, coordinate, and evaluate security programs, to recommend information assurance/security solutions, and to identify, report, and resolve security violations across the Enterprise
5+ years experience working within the federal government or serving federal government clients
Must have an active Top Secret clearance
Must have Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Desired Skills
ITIL Certification would be a plus
