Online Business Manager - Commercial Online - Brasil



The Online Business Manager (OBM) resides in the Commercial Online organization and is dedicated to supporting the Premier, Premier Plus, Global Portal / Premier Connect/B2B Online Commerce needs for Dell Commerce Services and sales organizations.



The OBM is critical in driving Online Revenue dollars with a programmatic and account based focus. They closely team with segment GM and RSDs on priorities and sales motions which are aligned with Online growth plans.



Develops and implements internet marketing strategies to optimize the online user experience, increase marketing effectiveness and improve customer satisfaction. Manages merchandising product placement, pathing, promotion and content to optimize conversion and consideration. Takes the lead in campaign management, product launch/transition, online merchandising and end-to-end conversion.



Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and ability to prioritize workload is also necessary. The successful candidate will also have the ability to lead through influence, as well as possess effective presentation skills and ability to motivate external customers.



Principal Accountabilities

· Analyzes customer needs to determine the appropriate e-business solution.

· Develops plans and schedules based on prioritization including requirements, tasks, review points and reporting.

· May serve as a liaison between the customer and Dell’s IT team and other core business partners for e-business solutions.

· Delivers and maintains a superior online customer experience.

· Defines Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for online.

· Measures and manages activities against key KPI’s. Delivers programs to meet core financial goals.



This role requires a unique combination of skills: customer and sales facing, project management, analytics and technical aptitude. Principle Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Customer and Sales facing: ability to market and sell the online value proposition, become an expert on online functionality and tools, present in customer briefings, sales team meetings, build relationships with sales to drive innovative ideas into reality (scalable project focus). The role also requires close interaction with and support of numerous customer facing teams including, Inside Sales Managers (ISM's) and sales teams (ISR's), Outside Regional Sales Managers (RSMs), Account Executives (AE's) Sales Controllers, System Engineers, and Executive Briefings with customers (EBC's).

  • Project management: ability to engage appropriate cross-functional teams required to execute B2B integrations and other change the business projects and manage to successful completion while juggling multiple projects at a time. Some of the cross-functional teams the candidate will engage in effective interaction with within the Public and Large Enterprise teams include Business Automation, Online Marketing, GRBO (Global Relationship Business Operations), IT PDM's, Legal, Sku management, COC, Logistics, Reporting/Analytics and Finance.

  • Analytics: strong analytical aptitude with ability to perform analysis on data to identify strategic pockets of opportunity within the segment, evaluate what will provide the biggest return to grow online, execute, monitor and report on results.

  • Technical aptitude: ability to understand various ERP and Dell system capabilities and electronic communication protocols, and translate technical jargon to business speak to architect the best solution for the customer and Dell



    Qualifications



    Knowledge, Skills, Education and Abilities: The Ideal candidate will have 4+ years of professional experience, with at least two of those in a marketing/sales capacity or related field. Additional qualifications include strong knowledge of E-business technologies, account management and project management. Strong communication, presentation and analytical skills are a must. Working knowledge of Dell's PMP methodology a plus.
