Senior Public Cloud Test Developer

Qualifications :


Oracle delivers the broadest, most complete and integrated enterprise-grade public Cloud solutions, including SaaS (Global Human Resources, Talent Management, CRM, Enterprise Planning, Financial Reporting, Enterprise Resource Planning etc,.), PaaS (Database, Java, Developer, Document, Business Intelligence, etc,.) and IaaS (Compute, Object Storage, Messaging). It enables customers to choose the right approach for them.



As a member of Oracle Public Cloud team, you will involve in the full cycle of Cloud system implementation to ensure that Oracle Cloud computing is fully enterprise grade, offering the services in different levels. You will also help to diagnostic problems of Cloud environment, meet all customer and quality requirements within these enterprise configurations, and develop expertise on all aspects of Oracle Cloud services and components. Latest Oracle technologies and products will be integrated into public Cloud platform, such as: Database, Weblogic, Enterprise Manager, OVM, Nimbula, Enterprise Linux, Fusion Middleware/Applications etc.



Responsibilities:


• Draft test plan, design, execute and automate test cases etc for Oracle Cloud Service



• Establish integration testing methods, tools and codes for Oracle Cloud Service



• Integrate Oracle Cloud Service into Cloud infrastructure



• Review Cloud documentation



• Provide technical information to other disciplines as necessary



Qualifications:


• Proficient in Oracle Database, familiar with Exadata



• Ability to design/execute integration test cases, analyze results, then improve accordingly



• Proficient to work in Linux, virtualization environment, familiar with Cloud



• Highly self-motivated without supervision, fast learner, team player



• Creative thinking, good problem solving skills



• Good verbal and written English communication skills



• Strong sense of software quality assurance processes



Desirable:


• Oracle DBA or Exadata experience would be a plus



• Hands on experience in establishing test infrastructure and automation framework would be a plus



• Experience in large scale Cloud or virtualization environment would be a plus



• Ability to write test tools/scripts in Java or scripting languages like Python/Perl/Shell etc would be a plus



• Leadership skills would be a plus



Education:


• Bachelor or master in computer science



Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.



As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.



Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
