As the Inside Sales Associate, you will be responsible for the direct sale of Dell's products and services to Commercial customers. Sales are generated over the phone by building relationships with customers, conducting a needs analysis and building an IT solution for that customer. You will work as part of a virtual team with the Field based Account Executive and the Technical team. The scope of the position includes new account allocations as well as the development and maintenance of existing clients within the account base allocated.
A high level of proactive account activity is required ensuring budgets are covered and over-achieved. You will strive to meet quota targets by selling Dell’s range of products, third party products and services using consultative selling techniques. You will also be responsible for the preparation of timely and accurate quotations/orders to meet customer requests. You will need to maintain an awareness of the PC and IT industry and keep up to date with new products.
Qualifications
- Qualifications
- Minimum 2 yrs Sales experience preferably in IT
- An understanding of IT Solutions - Client and Enterprise products
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated, well organised and able to work well within a team
- Strong Customer Service ethic
- Well-developed negotiation and sales persuasion skills
- Consultative selling skills
