Role overview



Software Dev Sr. Analyst position in Dell India, primarily focusing on system update and change management products.



SAP/BOBJ analyst and implementer. Must possess a deep background in SQL and OLAP data sources, SAP BOBJ, SAP BODS and strong communication skills.



Role Responsibilities



Install, configure and perform admin operations of BOBJ and BODS tools.

Migrate/Upgrade BOBJ and BODS to the newer version, test and deliver.

Migrate the BOBJ reports and universes using Import wizard and LCM.

Development and Testing of Universe, Reports and DS Jobs.

Convert Deski Reports to Webi Reports using Report Conversion tool.

Develop batch & real-time BODS jobs by using Data Integrator/Data Quality transformations.

Create Master/Detail Cross-Tab and summarized reports to view the data in an analyzed way.

Apply Filters, Breaks, Slice and Dice, Alerts, Ranking and Drill modes on Reports.

Communicate with clients to understand the requirements/enhancements and provide status update.



Requirements



At least 4-7 years of experience in Business Objects Data Services development is needed.

Experience in SAP Business Objects XIR2/R3 and R4

Experience in developing real-time BO Data Services jobs, and messaging services

Must have good experience in BODI and BOBJ administration, installation and configuration in Windows and Linux environment.

Must possess thorough understanding of SAP BOXI and BODS architecture and the new features in the latest version.

Development experience in BO Data quality is added advantage

Development experience using SAP R3 workflows are added advantage.

Working experience in dealing with on-site/offshore and remote development methodology
