Location: Dublin, Ireland



Description: Salesforce.com is seeking a passionate highly driven fast starter to join our Web Marketing team in Dublin as a Online marketing Trainee. During your internship you will be a key member of the EMEA Web Marketing team, gaining fantastic experience and knowledge in a fast moving passionate team that delivers world-class online advertising. You will work with other Online marketing managers, Web Producers, Designers, Developers and Marketing Automation experts gaining valuable experience in an agile team.



This is an exciting opportunity to work within the salesforce.com team. You will be a member of the Web Marketing team in Dublin, Ireland and work in close collaboration with our field marketing teams across Europe, the US and APAC. The successful candidate will help build and optimise a variety of our display and social advertising in EMEA gaining valuable experience and knowledge in a fast paced cloud computing marketing environment.

Responsibilities include:

Supporting the EMEA Online Marketing team in all aspects of online advertising:

· Plan, execute and report on display activity within the EMEA Market in conjunction with the Online Marketing manager to include – working with agency partners to develop media plans, trafficking and implementation, reporting on findings, working with the creative and country teams on display creative formats and messages and optimising these messages accordingly.

· Implement, manage and optimise Social Media advertising campaigns across Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter, Xing etc. to include – campaign set up, ad text creation and testing, regular reporting. This will also involve working closely with the community manager for the country social pages.

· Assist PPC activity on ad texts creation and optimisation, keyword research, conversion tracking and optimisation, performance analysis, landing page analysis and testing.

· Working with local marketing management and regional marketing teams to build out and maintain a variety of digital campaigns across the EMEA sites.



Requirements:

This is a multidisciplinary role that will give you broad exposure across all areas of web online marketing campaigns and interacting with a dispersed global team. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of achievement, enthusiasm for online advertising, proven ability to learn quickly and manage multiple projects successfully.



Skills Required:

· Marketing/digital/online advertising/graduate.

· Strong knowledge of the Online advertising landscape

· The ability to plan, schedule and prioritise tasks

· Candidate must demonstrate a passion for web marketing

· Enthusiastic & flexible working attitude

· Excellent communication skills

· Excels in a team-oriented environment

· Strong attention to detail and loves working towards clear goals

· Loves making data led decisions and has a passion for all things data



Skills Desired:

· Knowledge of additional European languages (Dutch, Italian or Spanish) would be a distinct advantage

· Google adwords certification is a plus

· Has already managed online marketing campaigns

• Excellent writing and editing skills


• Excellent project management skills and attention to detail


• Familiar with latest web technologies


• Experience in the use of DoubleClick Campaign Manager, Twitter/LinkedIn/Facebook Ads solution, Google Adwords are a plus

Duration: Traineeship of 6 months

Estimated Start Date August 2014
