Job Description
Dell Inc.'s wholly owned subsidiary Dell Services Federal Government, Inc. (DSFG) is seeking a Supply Technician to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible to assist in the de-militarization of records and physical parts from programs that are no longer in use.
This position will be responsible for and not limited to any aspect of technical supply management (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to government supply chain activities. This individual will concentrate on the predefined de-militarization efforts following the requirements set forth by the guiding governing representative. This individual will need to be able to follow documented technical instruction for proper disposal of all identified parts and components related to the system. The disposal and transfer instructions with related technical data as applicable will be generated and accomplished in accordance with established DRMO. This individual should be familiar with Navy submarine components.
Required Skills
1 year Logistics or Supply experience.
1 year experience with MS Office suite of products.
Desired Skills
1 year Shipyard experience desired
Education
HS or GED
Experience
Typically requires 4 years relevant experience without a Degree or Undergraduate Degree and at least 1 year relevant experience
Requirements
Lifting heavy objects may be required.
