AppExchange, the world’s leading business apps marketplace was launched in 2006 with a simple goal: to make buying business apps easy. With over 2200 apps and 2.2M installs, we are defining the enterprise app market. Our Partner Marketing team is looking for a leader who can build the right communications, events, and campaign strategy to recruit new app providers, ISVs, and consulting partners into our ecosystem. We are looking for a dynamic marketer with exceptional leadership skills to manage a team and drive the overall strategy and collaborate with others to execute campaigns and events to successful completion. This individual will need excellent communication skills and the ability to work with multiple teams across the organization to ensure world class execution.



Responsibilities:



· Manage, motivate and guide a team of kick-ass marketers.



· Develop and manage the overall marketing communications, social community, events, and integrated campaign strategy for partner marketing



· Build and execute on thorough project plans for campaigns and events that cover demand gen to reporting



· Work across multiple channels, including email, website, paid media, and social media to build community, drive net new leads and event registration



· Interface with the partner sales organization to collaborate on third party events in their territory (geo or vertical), and promote campaigns and salesforce.com event registration



· Manage and maintain overall marketing campaigns and event metrics, including the tracking of indirect sales opportunity stages and ROI from marketing generated leads



· Implement a new marketing automation program for partner leads



· Understand salesforce.com brand and product positioning with the ability to ensure consistent, on-brand messaging



· Pre, onsite and post event management



· Work with external vendors and internal teams (developer marketing, ISV and channel sales, product marketing, creative services, social marketing, interactive, marketing ops) to successfully execute communications, events, campaigns, and programs



Required Skills



· 10+ years experience in marketing communications, field marketing, event marketing, or campaign marketing in a high tech company



· B.A. in marketing, business, communication or other related field or equivalent in work experience



· Dynamic, articulate, and confident individual with ability to successfully lead a team and drive projects to completion



· Highly analytical, data driven and goal-orientated.



· Intimate understanding of the demand generation funnel and process, including sales processes.



· Ability to operate under pressure, prioritize and meet deadlines



· Proven track record in successfully managing multiple projects, communications, campaigns, or events simultaneously



· Creative thinker that independently generates and executes on innovative marketing ideas



· Excellent written and verbal communication skills



· Team player – works to ensure team goals are met or exceeded



Desired Skills



· Deep knowledge of cloud computing platforms and applications



· Understanding of the enterprise app market



· Experience with or understanding of the high tech partner ecosystem and channel sales



· MBA is a plus
