Summary
At Salesforce.com , Finance and Strategy (F&S) works closely with leaders across the organization to produce financial plans and deliver key insights to drive the best possible investment decisions, focusing primarily on growth and execution of our aggressive long-range plans.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst based in our Dublin office, reporting t o the F&S – Finance Manager for Customer and Sales Growth, this is a key position that will be responsible for providing multiple planning and reporting tasks for the CSG organization in EMEA. This role will also act as a business partner for the EMEA Salesforce Services Business Unit senior management and line managers providing guidance on financial and operational matters.
Principal Responsibilities
· Provide financial reporting metrics for the various CSG departments including Salesforce Services Regional Executives
· Controlling duties include review of month end and quarter end close expense items including accruals, reclasses and transfers as applicable for CSG and Salesforce Services EMEA
· Maintain the Revenue financial model for Salesforce Services EMEA
· Drive forecasting and planning process for CSG and Salesforce Services
· Work closely with the Salesforce Services Operations teams in developing and implementing processes that will improve efficiencies within business. Items include financial dashboards, monthly forecasting process and others (capacity, utilization, billing rates, discount, etc..)
· Provide financial support for the Salesforce University and other departments in CSG.
· Align with F&S Corporate, CSG APAC, CSG Japan and HQ counterparts to ensure consistency of processes, accounting & reporting
· Participate in process improvement projects, including development and implementation of new business processes and best practices
· Perform various ad-hoc analyses
Desired Skills & Experience
Personal Profile
• A third level degree and professional accounting accreditation (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
• At least 3 to 5 years post qualification experience in a FP&A or Finance & Strategy function of a multinational entity.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Power Point, Hyperion, Oracle, Hyperion and Salesforce CRM a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Prior experience with consulting organisations and in software industry would be an advantage.
· Fluent English + other languages a plus.
