Salesforce.com is seeking an exceptional lead product manager for our Financial Services product team.
You will be an experienced and passionate leader with a strong track record either in or serving the Financial Services industry.
You will be responsible for owning the product strategy and detailed feature roadmap - identifying and prioritizing product feature requirements, and building
new product capabilities from initial concept to successful delivery and market adoption.
You'll work closely with a dedicated development team, sales and pilot customers.
This is a unique hands-on opportunity to play a leading role in a critical part of Salesforce’s growth strategy.
Responsibilities:
● Develop & maintain world-leading product, competitive positioning, value proposition, fitness for purpose & ultimately customer success for key Financial Services products
● Work with our customers, sales and innovations teams to gather, distill and synthesize requirements
● Define the value proposition, competitive positioning and detailed features for each release and act as the Customer in our Agile development process.
● Ensure alignment with Salesforce Core & other product roadmaps
Required Skills:
● Visionary thinker with demonstrable experience of thought leadership and knowledge of the Financial Services sector
● Outstanding written and oral communication skills, including experience presenting to executive leadership, participating in the sales cycle, and handling sensitive customer escalations
● Demonstrated experience in gathering and transforming product requirements into an actionable product roadmap
● Strong user experience/design sense, with a record of building great products across multiple channels
● Experience using agile methodologies to deliver products and technologies preferred
● Knowledge of unique regulatory requirements of Financial Services sector, both domestic and international. Detailed knowledge of specific functional, technical, and procedural options to address these requirements.
● Relationships with key partners in Financial Services ecosystem, both ISVs and Services partners
● Detailed knowledge of Salesforce Core Products as evidenced by formal certifications
● Proven ability to build outstanding relationship with Sales, Pre-Sales, and Post-Sales teams
● Experience with Pilot Programs
● Experience with evaluation and acquisition of new technologies
● Experience working with a geographically distributed team
Location: Based in San Francisco or New York.
