This position is part of the Java platform client team, you will be working on development activities related to regular updates to the Java development platform, working on client user interface technologies.
Developers on this team will be working on several different Java UI Toolkit technologies, including JavaFX, Swing, AWT, Sound and Java2D. The scope of the work done by this team includes developing support for new platforms and hardware, addressing issues around performance and specification compliance, updating the implementation to address security considerations, implementation of new features as necessary.
