Role Overview:

Responsibilities:

Know your market. You will get to know your vertical market by working closely with your clients, understanding their needs and the needs of the industry, producing a Sales Plan which will help in achieving sales directly or together /in supporting partners

 

New account development: Maximize your market area by identifying and developing relationships with Business Partners through a pro-active development of some of the top 100 customers in the region. You will work not only with their sales teams but also with the end-client, representing Oracle.

Present an Oracle Solution: You will be given full product training which will help you with identifying prospective customers understanding their needs and translating their requirements into relevant Oracle solutions. Pre-sales support is provided as part of your virtual team.

 

New account development: Maximize your market area by identifying and developing relationships with customers through a pro-active development of the top 100 customers in the region. Developing relationships with business partners for developing specific market solutions.

 

Lead Successful Marketing Campaigns by working closely with your internal marketing specialist you will be Planning and implementing your own Direct Sales Campaigns, generating leads through product specific marketing actions aimed at a specific target audience.

 

Over Achieve on targets by understanding your clients needs and working inside their business; producing a pipeline and forecast, enabling you to know where you are to target, and helping you maximize your income. 

Manage Business Partners by taking a ‘partner’ approach in all aspects of your work. Maintaining and developing exceptionally good relationships with Business Partners. Managing Partners expectations and always trying to exceed them.

Experience:

  • Ideally 4-5 years of experience in direct software sales.

  • Good track record in a sales driven organisation, ideally selling IT/Technology related products/services

  • HBO/Dynamic Training Experience

  • Excellent Communication skills

  • Knowledge of Oracle products will be useful though not essential

As part of our Storage Sales Team you will have the ability to take your Oracle portfolio of storage solutions such as Oracle’s ZFS Storage Appliance and FS1 to the highest levels within your accounts.

  • Effective execution of the business plan; opportunity planning, delivering on revenue quota and set objectives & targets.
  • Excellent communication of Oracle’s product strategy, value proposition and competitive positioning to customers, partners and internal teams.
  • Able to act and present on CxO level.
  • Demonstrate a solution selling approach targeted at expanding deal sizes and total revenue.
  • Provide accurate forecasts to management.
  • Manage business & IT relationships proactively and effectively qualify sales opportunities.
  • Develop an opportunity pipeline 3-4 times greater than quota.
  • Drive for customer referencability across the installed base.
  • Leverage & engage Oracle and client executives and available business development resources for customers, sales opportunities and sales campaigns. 
  • Develop new accounts Storage accounts as well as build upon existing relationships and eager to take the lead. 

Accountabilities

  • Achieve Oracle storage revenue quota and set targets.
  • Understand Oracle’s storage strategy and be able to communicate it effectively to customers (all levels), partners and Oracle sales teams.
  • Maintain a detailed knowledge of the storage solutions and value propositions and ensure this knowledge is transferred to all relevant constituents. 

Key Skills:

  • >5 years of experience in a Senior Sales role with a proven track record of success in a sales driven organization, ideally selling IT Software/Technology related products/services in a ‘Solution based’ sale.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to take a leading sales role, managing virtual teams and executing successful sales strategies.
  • Experience in both hunting for new business and managing existing clients.
  • A good understanding of Hardware/Software industry practices, dynamics, and market trends is useful but not necessary.
  • Large/Key account experience will be very beneficial.
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent.
  • Dutch and English language skills are a must-have.
