The Service and Presentation Infrastructure team's mission is to develop the next generation technology platform to help LinkedIn's engineers ship innovative services and web applications. This team is looking for a strong Senior Engineering Manager to lead LinkedIn's web frameworks engineering team of about 15 engineers. You will be responsible for the overall direction and roadmap of web technology at LinkedIn including developer experience, performance, site speed, and helping LinkedIn adopt and drive the latest standards in web technology. The team works closely with our webdev team, application development teams, LinkedIn's other infrastructure teams, and our partners in the open source community.
Other responsibilities include:
• Create and own the strategic roadmap for the team, working closely with web, application, and other infrastructure teams
• Manage project execution and ensure timely delivery based on the plan
• Mentor and grow a world-class team capable of taking on increasingly more challenging projects
• Perform all people management functions
• Help with project management as well as cross-organization dependencies, together with our technical program manager
