Brand Manager (Enterprise Solutions Group)- Market Development Manager

The Enterprise Solutions Group Brand Manager is responsible for the brand management, sales & marketing enablement for the enterprise portfolio and associated P&L across different segments (G500, SMB, LE, Public) in the Commercial Business Organization North America Market. Identifies and develops global business opportunities. Drives strategic initiatives, supporting regional tactical needs, and guiding the Line of Business to focus on global planning, RTS execution, and the customer experience. Grows Dell’s business outside the U.S. to achieve regional revenue mix goals.



Principal Accountabilities:



Oversees strategic planning, development and coordination of all portfolio and product definition activities as well as the marketing communications programs to promote the sale of enterprise portfolio and further the segment’s sales objectives.



• In-depth disciplinary knowledge; leverages business acumen and subject matter expertise.

• Provides deep subject matter expertise, advice and program delivery.

• Contributes to the development of new techniques and plans within area of expertise.

• Applies knowledge of company’s enterprise portfolio capabilities and competitive environment to identify new growth areas, new technology and emerging product/service opportunities.

• Conducts market opportunity analysis, and participate in development of product line strategy

• Develops regional/segment product proposals & product roadmaps.

• Provides guidance to regions, business contract support, and conducts internal product presentations

• Broadens Line of Business engagement with the region by facilitating regular regional Ops reviews with the LOB, and planning regional visits by LOB to gather competitive information and improve relationships.

• Represents the LOB in the region by meeting with customers, attending customer events and trade shows as needed.

• Represents the region in the LOB, by acting as the path for escalation by facilitating team meetings and conference calls if regional needs are not getting resolved in a timely manner.

• Drives LOB strategic initiatives in emerging or established markets that present large opportunities for Dell’s LOB, including conducting research studies and developing comprehensive marketing recommendations for the region.

• Identifies and trains regional sales team members on LOB strategies, product and services roadmaps, and new technologies.

• Executes identified customer experience enhancement opportunities and ensures best in class opportunities are leveraged between regions.





Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with high level presentation skills.



· Strong ability to motivate and achieve results through others.



· Must understand technical server product concepts to assist Marketing, ESG and ASG staff on technical proposal and customer solutions.



· Must be fully knowledgeable in classic marketing skills (i.e., Product, Positioning, Pricing, and Promotion).



· 10+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.



· Undergraduate degree and 8-10 years relevant experience.



· Graduate degree and 6-8 years relevant experience.



· Executive level presentation capability and ability to work under tight deadline
