The team focus on Oracle Fusion Middleware mapviewer - OracleMaps development,QA, as well as bug fixing and local customer supporting.



Brief Description



Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.



Detailed Description



As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.



Job Requirements



Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.



Product Description:



Oracle Fusion Middleware MapViewer (or simply, MapViewer) provides powerful geospatial data visualization and reporting services. Written purely in Java and run in a J2EE environment, MapViewer provides web application developers a versatile means to integrate and visualize business data with maps. MapViewer uses the basic capability included with Oracle11g (delivered via either Oracle Spatial or Locator) to manage geographic mapping data. MapViewer hides the complexity of spatial data queries and the cartographic rendering process from application developers.











Responsibilities:



1. Participate in product and application development life cycle



2. Contribute to the creation of functional specification and architectural and technical designs



3. Work across teams and with partners and customers to define product features



4. Participate in product enhancement and maintenance



5. Participate in functional reviews, test specifications, documentation and code review.



6. Constantly learn Oracle technologies and share with other team members and apply them to the daily work



7. Actively contribute to innovative activities



Requirements:



1. Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science or GIS related field



2. At least 2 years of the software development experience, with 1+ years in JavaScript or other script language



3. Project experience with PL/SQL



4. Strong software design, development, debugging and problem solving skills



5. Oracle spatial knowledge



6. Highly self-motivated and result oriented



7. Has a passion for learning and researching new things



8. Strong understanding of software development process



9. Good team player



10. Can-do attitude



11. Good communication skills in both Chinese and English



Desired Skills



1. Javascript expert



2. HTML5+Canvas/SVG based programming experience



3. Ajax + Jquery knowledge
