Candidates will be working with one of the leading payment processing infrastructure provider in the world, on their strategic initiative: Key tasks :
· To participate in defining the technical design of high performance, scalable,
· Mission critical payments services using Java and Oracle technologies.
· To implement solutions in line with enterprise architecture, principals and agreed designs, and a quality service is delivered into test and production environments successfully.
· Reporting to the Development Manager, the duties and accountabilities of the role are:
· Work closely with the team members of the Development/Architecture in the implementation of application design of payment systems.
· Work with System Analysts and Development managers to ensure code is developed according to the agreed requirements and timelines.
· Ensure code is developed to agree Quality standards, Design principles, Coding Standards and Enterprise Architecture.
· Contribute to development designs and the development process.
· Ensure code is successfully unit tested before delivery to central test.
· Accountable to the Development Manager and team lead for delivery of the above.
Qualifications Non-negotiable skills
Proven technical experience and broad knowledge of the following:
· Spring
· Hibernate
· XML and associated processing technologies
· J2EE technologies
· Core Java 5
Technical skills required/preferred for the role
Proven technical experience and broad knowledge of the following:
· Spring
· Hibernate
· XML and associated processing technologies
· J2EE technologies
· Core Java 5
· Unit tests and related frameworks
· Oracle 10g+ and PL/SQL
· SOA
· Web services
