Oracle has brought together a suite of Data Integration, Availability and quality products so that we can offer our customers the best solutions in this growing sector. Two years ago Oracle acquired GoldenGate Software, leading provider of real-time data integration solutions to add to Oracle Data Integrator in this marketplace. Active DataGuard has been added to the portfolio along with Oracle Enterprise Data Quality tools. To sustain this fast growing market which includes new topics such as Cloud and Big Data, Oracle is now looking for an additional Sales Executive in Madrid to drive revenue growth. This will be a co-prime sales position working with the local Technology Sales Representatives. This position reports to the Southern Europe sales leader for DIS.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Acting as DIS products expert and consultant to sell the projects and solutions


• Winning new licence sales revenue in line with targets


• Developing a strategy and sales plan to address the designated Territory/ Industry sector


• Developing profiles of targeted accounts within the industry sector


• Generating and following up on leads


• Qualifying leads and prioritizing opportunities


• Marshalling internal and Partner resources to conduct campaigns


• Identifying and working with the appropriate people within Oracle and the Customer


• Developing, extending and maintaining relationships with the appropriate staff


• Facilitating and nurturing Senior Management relationships to generate active sponsorship of Oracle


• Working with, and influencing the activities of Oracle Partners as appropriate


• Maintaining an understanding of Oracle's strategic direction and interpreting its relevance to the industry sector


• Working with dedicated DIS Business Development managers to ensure supporting activities are performed to position products
