With over 3,000 employees globally, we are currently hiring an Applications Services Technical Lead to join our growing ADMS practice. The Client will be based in the UK however our Delivery team will be based in our Limerick Facility.
Role Responsibilities:
• Senior Development Advisor is required for Integration platform and for core development
• Responsible for Delivering a quality Solution to Dell’s client
• Be a leader, lead from within and drive success to the technical delivery teams
• See’s the ‘Big Picture’ and is able to decouple themselves from the day to day operations of an IT Organisation so that strategic direction is defined/followed/understood
• The person is responsible for engaging with our Senior Applications Development team, understanding the clients pain points and needs, and developing solutions and proposals that deliver value for the customer and for Dell
• Rationalization, Simplification. Integration and core development when delivering a solution is a key requirement.
• Overseeing more junior team members and ensuring Technical consistency and governance within engagements.
• Acting as part of our Delivery team, Drive and recommend improvements for code quality in all relevent implementations
• May demonstrate feasibility of a technology or a solution
QualificationsRole Requirements:
• 5 +years’ experience in IT role for Applications development with Banking or Financial Domain knowledge Strong customer facing skills
• Strong knowledge SDLC, Quality Solutions and processes
• Strong interpersonal and organizational change management skills
• Understands and explains related technical features of solutions
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and lead key discussions with respect to complex application integration challenges and alignment with key team members
Preferences:
• The Senior Development Advisor should have 4+ years’ experience in some or all of the following:
Experience of Agile principles including Scrum
Agile
J2EE architecture & implementation
JUNIT, Eclipse, Hudson, GIT, svn, artifactory
JBOSS, websphere, weblogic
Data Modelling
Logging tools like ELK
Test automation
Integration Platforms (Mule ESB): must for integration team otherwise nice to have
Banking or Financial Domain Experience
Messaging Platforms
Complex Event Processing
Authentication, Authorisation tools
High Availability
Scaling
