Multimedia Designer, Sales Solutions

In this role, you will design and produce materials in multiple mediums and for a variety of audiences. Responsibilities will include creating presentations, online learning modules, print collateral, and instructional videos. You will also be designing and developing multimedia products by combining still images, sound, text, video, and animations. To be successful in this role you should have experience designing for web, screen, and print, and have experience in producing interactive media used in training, games, corporate presentations, and as promotional tools.



This role will work closely with Instructional Designers, so a background in instructional design, instructional technology, or sales training is a plus, but not a necessity.



Key Responsibilities

• Develop various forms of media such as eLearning, presentations, print collateral, rich media, animation, simulation, interactive web modules, and informational/instructional videos including graphics;

• Scale learning to accommodate global audiences and learning styles;

• Partner and build meaningful relationships with key stakeholders across Sales Solutions, Marketing, and Product teams to stay up to date with current messaging;

• Maintain an expert knowledge of LinkedIn product features and functions with a focus on Sales Solutions products.

• Work with SMEs to finalize strategy and create products based on agreed methodology and approval from business partners;

• Work closely with Instructional Designers to plan, develop, deploy, and manage projects;

• Develop scripts and storyboards to present a vision consistent with instructional theories and company philosophy;

• Must have a highly focused design sensibility combined with an understanding of current design trends and best practices and how they play into designing critical creative elements to build brand;

• Must maintain a high degree of flexibility and work effectively in a largely team-based, collaborative culture, where open communication and idea generation from all levels are encouraged.



Experience Required

5+ years professional multimedia production experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Highly organized, detailed-oriented, and self-directed

Ability to build strong relationships and navigate through stakeholder discussions

Proficient in establishing priorities and meeting aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment

Ability to take and synthesize critical feedback into innovative solutions and improvements

Bachelor’s Degree in Multimedia Production, Graphic Design, Animation, Video Production, Mass Communication, Instructional Technology, or related field preferred

Expert level Powerpoint presentation design skills

Expert level in Adobe CS (Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, InDesign, Premiere, Soundbooth, After Effects)

Experience in media and publishing, with a focus on audio, video, and print production experience

Expert in MS Word and PowerPoint

Ability to become proficient with new applications quickly

Preferred

Education or demonstrated success developing e-learning and/or Instructor Led Training.

XHTML, CSS, ActionScript and JavaScript, Final Cut Pro

eLearning Course Development Software such as Lectora, Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, and Camtasia

Familiarity with Adult Learning and Instructional Design Principles

Experience with mobile learning research, implementation, and deployment within a corporate infrastructure



Familiarity with learning management systems and/or content management systems
