As a Marketing manager, you are a fully dedicated business leader, shaping the future of one of our many Google products. Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (AdWords, AdSense, DoubleClick, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a loyal consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

Shape the future of how Google Apps is used in the workplace and be part of an entrepreneurial team in a rapidly growing business. We’re looking for a rigorous marketer to craft world-class, integrated campaigns targeting small and mid sized businesses and driving adoption of Google Apps for Work.

Responsibilities
  • Generate awareness and demand for Google for Work products, with a focus on Google Apps for Work, Drive for Work, Search for Work and Google Chrome/Chromebooks for Work.
  • Drive new and creative marketing and lead demand generation activities such as events, demand generation, direct marketing, PR, social, collateral and customer heroes storytelling.
  • Track and analyze the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns to determine growth and prioritize resources; develop a strong understanding of customer needs and how to best position our products in the local market; drive and execute online advertising campaigns via multiple platforms.
  • Provide ongoing management of these campaigns with an emphasis on tracking and reporting.
  • Coordinate appropriately across other channels to ensure smooth integration of online advertising into Google Apps for Work overall acquisition strategy.


Minimum qualifications
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.


Preferred qualifications
  • Deep knowledge of marketing automation, digital media and other online channels.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations action plans, and online campaigns that drive high ROI.
  • Comfortable speaking about and presenting data.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Ability to communicate and work cross-functionally.
