Global Solutions Lead, Channel Sales

The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with strong day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.



The Small and Medium Businesses (SMB) Customer Solutions and Innovation team sits within the Global SMB Sales and Operations organization. Our mission is to grow small and medium businesses with the best advertising solutions. We do this by driving product adoption and growing our customer base through integrated solution initiatives, and maintaining a rapid, disciplined loop across Product, Sales, and our advertisers.



This role focuses on driving solution selling success and product adoption for our Channel Sales partners. You will work closely with the Strategic Partner managers in Channel Sales and Product Leads to drive product strategy and further the success of our Partners and their end customers. This role has a focus on our local and true small business focused business solutions.



Responsibilities


  • Own all non-AdWords product strategies, launch plans, tracking and reporting for the Global Channel Sales team (examples include the API and AdWords Express).

  • Drive the product prioritization process: gather, prioritize, review requests from all regions and create a feedback loop to the Channel Sales team.

  • Provide regular updates on all new products and product features.

  • Own and execute formal and measurable beta launch programs identified for Channel Sales Partner Managers and their partners.

  • Develop case studies for successful non-Search product adoption and solutions.





  • Minimum qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 4 years of experience in a sales operations, training product specialist or partner account management role.





  • Preferred qualifications

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and collaborate cross functionally.

  • Knowledge of Google’s marketing solutions for businesses.

  • Strong project management skills.

  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable speaking to a larger group and C-level.
