Job Description
Analyzes business requirements/processes and system integration considerations to determine appropriate technology solutions for internal and external customers. Designs, evaluates, codes, configures, tests and documents applications based on system and user requirements. Using current programming language and technologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications. Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
Dell Services Federal Government is looking to add a resourceful Java Developer to their highly professional and qualified team. In this position, you will help shape the business of the client, at their site, in multiple long term projects.
Unique roles and responsibilities include:
* Coding and unit testing software that meets business requirements and technical design.
* Being a contributing member in meetings with the client and co-workers to improve product development and deliverables.
* Working with senior members to create features, application enhancements and upgrades.
* Display strong cooperative skills and be able to work with a dedicated team that has a tremendous knowledge base of existing products, features and source code.

Required Skills
3-5 years experience and proficient with Core Java development in Java/J2EE enterprise environment.
2-5 years experience and proficient with CSS, Javascript/JQuery, XML/XSLT, Core MVC.
Desired Skills
2-4 years experience and proficient with Apache Web Server and Apache Tomcat.
2-4 years experience and proficient with Relational DBMS (preferably Oracle).
Education
Four-year college degree in field of specialty such as Computer Science, Information Systems or related field (i.e., physics, mathematics, systems analysis, operations research, engineering, etc); or equivalent education and experience combined.
Experience
Typically requires at least 8 years relevant experience without a Degree; 3+ years relevant experience with Undergraduate Degree; 2+ years relevant experience with Graduate Degree
