This is a newly created position reporting to the Tax Manager. This role will be responsible for quantitative analysis across multi-disciplines within the Global Tax Department. We are looking for someone to assist with data collection/extraction, data processing and management to support complex tax computations, while looking for ways to advance the department’s use of financial tools, streamline current calculations and processes as well as performing analytics to provide meaningful financial insights to management.



Responsibilities:

• Understand the Company’s data structure and Tax department’s use of data, design solutions to capture and process data for tax computations in all disciplines (i.e. both income taxes and indirect taxes)


• Prepare complex tax computations to support transfer pricing as well as income tax provision and compliance processes


• Build/improve/advance existing financial systems or tools to improve data accessibility and integration for tax quantitative analyses


• Design and maintain data management for tax processes and audit defense


• Develop financial modeling in support of tax planning and initiatives evaluation


• Prepare insightful analytics summary for management review


• Build collaborative working relationships across the organization

Required Experience/Skills:

• Bachelors in Accounting/Finance/Economics


• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience handling financial analysis


• Expertise in building complex and/or large financial model through Excel, MS Access or other database


• Extremely comfortable with handling large volumes of data


• Have excellent analytical skills, ensure results are accurate and able to communicate findings in a precise and simple manner


• Extensive experience in financial systems strongly preferred (i.e. Oracle, Hyperion, Smartview, Essbase, data warehouse, etc.)


• Good general accounting knowledge


• Experience in taxation or cost accounting preferred, but not required


• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with strong ownership of his/her function


• Results driven with high level of initiative, teamwork, urgency, accountability and integrity
